Getting to China and Enjoying our First Day ...

Ni Hao!!  (knee how)
So, as you may already know we made it to China and we are doing well.  W
We met some wonderful people at the airport who are also adopting a child, a little girl, from the same orphanage that our boys are from.
It was great to meet them in person; our kids got along very well and enjoyed hanging out together!

We got to be together all the way until we got to China.  Our seats were even right near each other!!

Brynn even got to sit next to her new friend, Summer, for the entire flight!!

So, our flight was non-stop and about half way through, we hit some pretty serious turbulence that lasted for at least 30 minutes or so.  I guess that now that a day has passed, I don't really want to re-live it again but it was the worst thing ever that for about three hours afterwards, I could not stop myself from crying (I know, I know ... all together now, ... AWE!!!)  I was in constant prayer, but honestly, not at peace and very frightened. So, you may want to pray that I can actually get on another plane when it is time for us to head back home.

Today we went to the Great Wall of China!
Do you see the top of the hill in this photo?  We walked up about a million steps up to the look-out building and then walked all the way down ....

... it was very steep ... with MANY steps (very uneven steps) ...

We did THAT AFTER we went up THIS side and all the way back down.
It was pretty intense!!

We were able to do our Great Wall fun with our new friends!!  Going to China is a great way to make new friends!  Kasi and Chip are adopting a little boy and are with the same adoption agency as us.

Brynn and her new friend, Sam, had a GREAT day together!
They really enjoyed hanging out and experiencing Beijing together!
It's such a blessing that Brynn is making these great travel friends.

Did I say it was VERY STEEP??

After the Wall, we went to the Cloisonne Factory ...

... and we also went to the Jade Factory.  Because today is Molly's 9th Adoptiversary, we bought her a jade/silver bracelet.  She was really excited about that ... really she way ... then she was so tired from the day!!

Good Night All ... God Bless ... more tomorrow from Beijing!!
